Dos and donts for online dating
It's important to first know what you are looking for, whether it's casual dating, a long-distance pen pal or a serious relationship.
Once you know what you are looking for, you can fill out a profile at one of the paid or free online dating sites, post a photo, and start contacting people.
You’d just never guess how many of us are sticklers for spelling, and shocking as it may be, some of us think a well-placed semicolon is hot. Your last name may give them more information than you want them to have prior to meeting.
Was it because you had exhausted all of your local resources?
Or because you live in small town where everyone knows each other? Just because a date has been arranged does not mean that you have a ready-made relationship.
There is a range of ages, types of people, and interests to help you find potential dates.Do: Be clear AND realistic about what you want The most successful daters are those who not only know exactly what they want, but are realistic about themselves and what they’re looking for.Make a list of the qualities and traits you’re looking for in your perfect partner. You'll want to focus on not just getting to know people, but also taking action to meet offline.Keep in mind that you have no idea who you are really talking to online.
